Zay Village Homestay

2 days 1 night

From Sapa town, we walk down into the valley through the rice terraces and view daily life of the Black H'Mong people who populate the area. We see how they organize the irrigation of the terraces and encounter men, women and children as they work in the fields or make their way to market. After lunch, we resume trekking heading deeper into the valleys as we make our way to the Zay hill tribe villlage in Giang Ta Chai and our overnight home stay. Here we have time to relax and discover the working of village life before enjoying dinner and peaceful nights sleep.

Waking to the sounds of morning activities we have breakfast in the Zay village before starting our day's trek. Today we trek past a scenic waterfall. a bamboo forest and through areas of uncultivated land as we head to Red Dao village off Supan. After lunch there is a short walk up to the road and our waiting jeep, which will take us back to Sapa.
